First day of the internship at WESVIARC started with an orientation to the place and a tour around the compound and seeing all the research facilities. We were toured to the fields seeing all the different varieties of rice used for research and we went a place where we they taught tissue culture. We were also introduced by our supervisor to researchers in the research center.
That was all for my first day in WESVIARC.
