Monday and Tuesday

Nothing quite great happened on the first two days of the week.

Monday. When we arrived, we attended a flag ceremony which was done every Monday. After that we were split into two groups. It wasn’t fair really. Think about it, would it be great if one group had eight members and another had a whopping ELEVEN? Well, the eight of us (me, Czarina, Chari, Mitzi, Gelli, Ramon, Jonathan, Alex) were assigned to the Livestock. Yes, that means animals. Nothing really happened to me that morning because I had to go home due to certain unavoidable circumstances. But, in the afternoon, when I came back, they told me that they were tasked to do a poster about cattle that was due on Thursday. We then planned about the poster and then went home.

Tuesday. All day, we were there in the office making our project. Out of the researches that we made, I learned a lot of things about the cattle. Things like:

“Cattle” is actually the term used to refer to cows.
More than 100 medicines
used by humans come from cattle.
A cow spends 6 hours eating and 8 hours
chewing its cud each day.
Dairy cows produce the most milk of any mammal in
the world.
Etc.

The end.
