2nd week

On our second week, we were divided into two groups. Our group was assigned in the livestock division while the other was assigned in the crops division. This was done so that it would be easier for the employees to manage us.

April 23
In the morning, we went to our respective sections wherein we introduced ourselves to Sir Daniel, head of the livestock section. He gave us an assignment, making a poster about cattle, which is due for submission on April 26. We were dismissed early so the boys went out to start researching while the girls stayed behind. Instead of doing nothing, we asked Ma’am Flerida to give us something to do. She asked us to type the attendance sheet of the OJT students. In the afternoon we bought materials for our poster.

Sir Javis toured us to the different livestock present at WESVIARC. First, we went to the field where the goats are, then we proceeded to where the chickens are and there we watched them being fed. I’ve learned that the chickens were sorted according to their breed. After that, we started to make our poster. The boys went out to research more information about cattle.

We worked on our poster again. We spent half-day working on the background of the poster. Some of our group mates continued their research outside WESVIARC. Before we were dismissed, we’re almost done but it still needs final touches.
