Tuesday. We all went to the seed laboratory. We had a test before the lecture. The test had nine questions. Out of nineteen students in the room, a total of 0 knew the answer even to one question. So we sat there looking at our papers and making wild guesses. Believe me, they were really WILD guesses. For example:
Question: What is seed certification?
Answer: It is the cerification of seeds.
After the mind boggling test, we were lectured on about the NSQCS or the National Seed Quality Control Services does. After about thirty minutes of lecture, Sir dismissed us because he felt that we were hungry. Yes. He was right.
In the afternoon, we were brought to the seed lab and placed the rice grains in a sort of like an evaporating disk with a damp tissue. It is to make a home for different fungi. We would then study them when the time comes.
Wednesday. In the morning, it was time for the group two, us, to ride the tractor! Yahoo! I really had a great time driving it. It was very fun. Then we were made to hide again in the nursery. There, we ate “santol” that was generously given to us. After, that we were dismissed for the day. (Half-day #2)
