Monday
We learned a lot of things on the second week which includes a lot about cattle, chicken, and goats. These can also be classified into livestock(cattle and goats) or poultry(chicken). We spent most of the week in the livestock department and working on our poster. We also learned a lot by observing how people in the agriculture business work. We followed sir jabez one day on his daily routine of taking care of the goats and chickens in westviarc.
Wednesday
We were assigned on the crops and engineering department this week of westviarc. On monday we conducted a survey of the people who are currently living on westviarc. On tuesday we had no work because it was labor day. But on wednesday we harvested mangoes and ate it afterwards where we learned the diffrent varieties and the importance of grafting mango trees. The importance for grafting is to make flowering and fruit bearing of the tree faster and more productive
Friday
Well it is the end of the week and we still didn't have the privilege to drive anything in the engineering department. We just segregated and classified expired and unexpired seeds the whole morning and classified them into groups according to the diffrent varieties. We learned that there are a lot of diffrent kinds of varieties of vegetables and that most of them are hybrids depending on public demand. And we are now practicing for our intermission number for the westviarc foundation day. Well, till next time.. Ciao!!
