First session for May..=)
To start with, since we were in the crops section last week, it was now our turn at the Livestock session.. It was fun, for our first day there..
In the morning, we met with Sir Daniel, the head in the Livestock department. He then gave us our assignment for the entire duration of our stay there in the Livestock department, which is to make a poster about QUAILS. Then, he dismissed us.. Yippee!
The interesting part came in the afternoon..
After waiting for an hour, we were finally called back to the Livestock department. There we met Sir Jabiz(I prefer to pronounce it, Jay-Biz..), and Sir i-forgot-what-his-name-was. We introduced ourselves first, and then Sir i-forgot-what-his-name-was asked us if we'd care to observe and take place in their fecalysis on the chickens. We were intrigued upon hearing the word 'fecalysis', so we eagerly obliged! Sir Jabiz led us to the poultry farm(i guess that's what it is..) and Sir i-forgot-what-his-name-was explained to us how to do it. He didn't show us how, so we have to figure it out ourselves. I volunteered to go first(strong!!), and i was totally freaked out! In the end, only Greg, Audie and I managed to do it succesfully(we were the only ones who tried..) and thatwas it!!
Sir Jabiz then led us to the incubator, and he asked us the trivia question, "which came first, the chicken or the egg?"..Then, we witnessed a chick hatching from its egg!! Whoa..=)
After that, we were dismissed by Sir Jabiz, but we decided to hang out for a while in Sir Daniel's office..=) There, Sir i-forgot-what-his-name-was gave Gregory words of wisdom, and then Sir Daniel dismissed us for good..
