MAY 08 == TUESDAY
The day after the anniversary, many of us arrived a few minutes late, maybe because we were all so tired from watching the festivities(even though we did so while sitting down..). We waited 'til it was 9 o'clock, or past that, then Ma'am Flerida called us and led us to the seed lab. There, we waited a while for our lecturer, who, by the way was one boring fellow. He arrived a few minutes later, and gave us a pop quiz. About things we don't even know about!! We were pretty bummed about the fact that we were to have low scores because we didn't know anything about what the guy was talking about. After that dreadful quiz, he asked us to introduce ourselves, and he took a particular liking on Mitzi..=) However, when we asked HIM what his name was, he ignored us!! And on he went with his lecture(was that really a lecture?). I think he wasn't really interested in having us learn anything, because he lectured us while sitting down, and wasn't really explaining anything to us, and he seemed pretty bored himself too. Finally, when he noticed that we were quite quiet, he finally decided to dismiss us.. He even commented that it was better if we were hungry all the time because we were so passive. Gosh..
In the afternoon, we were quite reluctant to return to the seed lab because of Sir he-wont-give-his-name. But in the end, we returned after all. But instead of that lecturer, Sir Nemesio took his place!! Sir Nemesio was a funny fellow, and we really enjoyed his lecture. He led us to an airconditioned room, since, he says, it was so hot in the room we were staying. There, he showed to us the different fungi in a seed, some apparatus used there, and the incubation room. After that, he left us under the care of someone else. This someone else made us plant rice seeds on a moist tissue paper(i guess that's what that is), then she told us to place them in the incubation room. And voila!! Our day was over..=)

Third to the last day 'til the 20th day of SSIP.. We actually did nothing for this day!! well, our group that is.. The other group got to drive the tractor, because they weren't able to do so before, while we, waited for them to finish. After they finished, Ma'am Flerida sent us to the Nurswery were we did nothing, but sit...and sit...and sit...and more sitting was what we did. Then, after hours of doing nothing, we were dismissed early!! yippee!!
MAY 10 == THURSDAY
Whew!! WE ACTUALLY DID NOTHING FOR TODAY!! as in NOTHING!! we just waited 'til it was 12 and then Ma'am Flerida told us.."Half day for today!!" Woohoo!!=)
