2nd Day:
We went inside the seed section and met our lecturer for the day. Before we even had a lecture, Sir i-don't- know-his-name gave us a test about seed certification, seed testing and a lot of stuff that we can't relate to. Well, the topic is mostly about seeds but we weren't able to have any discussion regarding the topic. After that, we had our lunch and came, this time, with a different lecturer. His name is Sir Nemicio (is the spelling correct?) and he's a great and funny guy.
We had a few minutes of chatting and then, we proceeded to an airconditioned room where we saw posters of different fungis growing in the crops. There were equipments and samples on the table and Sir Nemicio showed us some "lumpia" well, its actually a moist "tissue" (it's not actually a tissue but it looks like one) with rice seeds growing inside.
We were also taught how to place rice seeds on a moist "tissue" inside a circular glass piece. One glass piece must have 25 rice seeds. 14 seeds as the outer ring, 10 seeds as the inner ring and 1 seed in the middle.
after that we placed our work on a shelf and proceeded to go outside.
After a few moments of doing nothing, Ma'am Flerida allowed us to go home.
