Third week has come and gone, and it seems pretty fast that in one week's time, SSIP would come to an end.

MAY 3 == Thursday

Second day in the livestock department, and it seemed we weren't actually there. Sir Daniel wasn't around, so we were left under Ma'am Anelyn's care. She hardly took notice of us, and when she finally did, it was only to tell us that Ma'am Flerida needs to talk to Lurence. That 'talk' turned out to be an order for us to vacate the Livestock office because Ma'am Anelyn would be leaving and no one would be left to watch over us.. So off we went and we were transferred to the Nursery together with the 'crops' group. We didn't do anything there except watch them peel mangoes and talk (well, Audie and I did this crossword puzzle). After more than an hour of doing nothing, we decided to go and have lunch..
But still, in the afternoon, we had nothing to do.. At two o'clock, Ma'am Flerida gathered us for a meeting regarding Monday's festivities.. This went on for an hour or less, and we were dismissed!!=)




May 4 == Friday

A day filled with sorting out seeds. We had to separate(again) expired and not-expired seeds. It was tiresome, and messy and dirty.. After sorting out so many seed packets, our hands were so dirty!! It was black(grayish, whatever..) from all the dust that was gathered from those packets. More, and more sacks of seed packets arrived(carried by Nong Geron..), and we had to sort them still.. After more than an hour of segregating those seed packets, we decided to refresh ourselves at the canteen. We stayed there longer than we planned, but yet, we managed to return and find them still working on the seeds, so we helped(again). This was our activity for the WHOLE morning, and we felt pretty bummed out that at noon, our fingers were caked with dust.
In the afternoon, we had nothing to do(yet again), and so Chari gathered us to have a meeting about the upcoming festivities(then again). Then, to finish the day, we practiced our number for Monday's event(we shall dance YMCA....=)). And off we went!!=)
